Editor,

This old and dated article on a plant-based lifestyle needs to be framed in today’s perspective. Namely, our planet is in a crisis that has never been faced by humanity.

It is time to realize our lifestyles need to be in harmony with our precious planet. We have tremendous opportunities to improve our food so that it is produced in an environmentally friendly and ethically sourced base.

Nutritionally, the article is not science nor fact-based. My family and friends have pursued a plant-based lifestyle for several years and we are dismayed that poor information is still allowed to permeate in this century! Please ask the better informed to contribute to your fine newspaper.

Sincerely,
Zahir Topan
