Georgian Bay Food Network

ALL ABOUT GBFN:

What We Do: It is our goal to assist community members struggling with food insecurity and assist them on the path to self-sufficiency. The importance of food is obvious and essential. At GBFN, we have made it our mission to assist community members in need by providing food and other services. We provide advocacy by identifying general concerns and gaps in services and help by bringing these issues to the attention of the local community. We are committed to listening to the voices of those accessing our services. Our Community Resource Navigator will work confidentially with individuals experiencing unique or specific needs. This support is intended to help identify the needs and goals of individuals, to help sustain self-sufficiency in the future. We believe it is important to work collaboratively with individuals in need to act as both an advocate and a resource to them.

Who we help:

We serve community members of Midland, Penetanguishene, Tiny, Tay, as well as Christian Island.

ABOUT OUR PEOPLE - TOGETHER EVERYONE ACCOMPLISHES MORE

We want our space in the community to be a comfortable environment.

Georgian Bay Food Network's mission is to serve the community as well as heal any negative thought forms and feelings associated with food banks.
