As many in the province continue to struggle with unemployment and other side effects of the pandemic, Alair Homes, a local home builder, has come together for the Alair Drives for Good initiative, raising funds and foods for food banks across the province that have been suddenly struggling with increased demand and a lack of donations.
Alair Georgian Bay and Muskoka partnered with The Salvation Army and was able to raise over $500 worth of non-perishable food items along with over $200 in cash donations.
Alair Homes has always made an effort to ensure the communities they live and work in thrive and felt their efforts were needed even more during the pandemic.
