MidlandToday, in partnership with the SPCA Midland Animal Centre, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

For this week, we wanted to give a boost to a lovely two-year-old cat named Precious.
She came into our care as a surrender along with her sister Haley, who is also still available. However, Haley and Precious seem to view each other as tolerable roommates rather than being bonded together by sisterhood so we do not require they be adopted out together.
Precious was initially very timid until she found her footing in the new environment. After which, she became very friendly and silly as seen in the photo of her rolling around on the weight scale, which she had made herself quite comfortable on.
Precious would make for a fun addition to any household willing to give her the first few days to adjust.
