Sasha a.k.a Fluffy
Midland Centre favourite over the pandemic, Fluffy has been renamed Sasha Katya Yana Natasha Morris-Day by her ecstatic new parents Russell and Kevin. They did mention that they refer to her as NOOOOOO a fair bit as well.
Sasha came to the Midland Centre as part of a transfer through our Animal North Network. She was just going through her assessment period at the Centre when COVID-19 hit and the centre had to close for adoptions.
The amazing staff worked with her on socialization (not that she needed much help), house training and other general enrichment.
She and her pal Buddy became social media darlings during the months of the shut down, and as soon as we were able to facilitate limited-contact adoptions, she was one of the first!
Russ and Kevin are completely in love with her, and it’s clear the feeling is mutual….even though she did chew a pair of Prada Boots and sunglasses…
